Almost all people would love to ‘sack the boss’ and work from home. Working for somebody else really means they take all the profits from your expertise and time – and would not it better if a job working at home meant all your time and expertise profited you instead?

The 1st thing you must do before anything for your work at home business is to find a niche or a topic.

One lesson to always remember: The money is in the niche. Even without a subscriber list, it’s still possible to make wads of cash online. But without a hyper-responsive niche, a business is a dead duck. It’s no use working

Mind you, having said that, a subscriber list is powerful and really you should include that in planning your online home business. It is easy to do and relatively cheap to implement. Promoting the niche of your selection becomes viral with a good autoresponder system.

Note first though: you won’t succeed unless you take this seriously. Your work from home business must be treated as such – as a business. See it as replacing your current employment – in full or part-time – that doesn’t matter – but being serious about a work at home job is critical – or you will just wander around, unfocused, collecting information and letting it gather dust. Or worse, you will waste a lot of time – and let’s face it – that’s money – your time has value!

It is a business; it is home employment – only it is not working for a boss! As a job – which it is – it has none of the negative aspects of working for someone else. As you develop the business and start to obtain results – the idea of it being a job or employment will dissipate and it will become something else – fun (gee!), a challenge, a new career and life!

There’s a direct correlation between passion and income. It’s all important that you enter a niche you won’t become tired with. You could be working in this niche for the rest of your life.
